2019 was an exciting year for Trend Control Systems and Stefano D’Agostino, the company’s business unit director for Europe, picks some highlights and looks forward to the year ahead.
The end of a year always offers a great opportunity to reflect, and 2019 saw a great deal of excitement at Trend, with much to feel positive about as we look forward to 2020.
Partnership at the heart of our business
Since it was launched in 1992, Trend’s Partner Programme has set the highest standards in the building controls industry and has been at the very heart of everything we do at Trend.
The Trend Partner Conferences further celebrate our commitment to our Partners, and the 2019 event took place in Madrid, where attendees heard about the latest Trend strategies, technology updates and product developments. We were also able to thank them for bringing their skills and expertise to the Trend offering, and ensuring that end users benefit from the highest standards of workmanship.
In 2020 we have exciting plans to further strengthen our partnership and deliver an even better service to our end users!
Points of view
Trend has experienced an excellent level of growth over the past 12 months, which means that our commitment to product design and innovation continues unabated. This is especially evident in IQTMVISION, which sets the benchmark in what’s possible with a graphical, real-time user interface.
It’s packed with features that allow clients to get the very best from their Building Energy Management System (BEMS) by integrating controllers, third party smart devices and internet protocols into a centralised software platform. We’ve just launched IQVISION 2.3, which further simplifies the engineering process, reduces set-up and interaction time, and furthers its analytical capabilities.
In 2020 we will introduce two further iterations of IQVISION, which will contain even more exciting features. Watch this space!
X marks the spot
Another key highlight of 2020 will be the launch of IQTMX – a cutting edge system that offers powerful analytical capabilities and extensive IT/OT integration. Cloud-based connected building services will also continue to dominate - expect some announcements in 2020 concerning how Trend can help make intelligent buildings even smarter.
In addition, with organisations across all vertical sectors under growing pressure to do all they can to minimise their carbon footprint and use resources more efficiently, Trend will continue to help our customers achieve their sustainability goals by providing technology and expertise to optimise any building.
It’s this positive outlook that we aim to communicate and I’m looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can in the months ahead. In the meantime, have a great Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year!
